Improve your internet surfing and searching skills with this free one-hour workshop!
This in-person workshop is for adults who are new to the internet or want to build more confidence finding information online and navigating websites. Attendees will learn about web browsers and search engines, build skills to navigate the internet, and discover tips and tricks for basic and advanced searching online.
The workshop is open to all residents of Schuylkill County and the Pottsville Library District, no library card required.
We will be offering the Internet Basics program on Wed., Sep. 6 at 5:30 PM and again on Sat., Oct. 14 at 12 PM (noon), with additional dates if necessary.
Registration is requested due to the limited seating available in the computer lab. Call the Library at 570-622-8880 to sign up with your name, phone number, and the date you wish to attend.
Attendees will receive a “swag bag” of goodies and be entered into the prize drawing for the workshop. There will also be a grand prize drawing at the end of our Fall series of computer workshops for a new Chromebook laptop.
