The Pottsville Free Public Library offers tactile activities, a variety of games and puzzles, and robotic kits for infants through school-age children. These are available for in-house use or to borrow. The STEM Corner and STEM Kits are courtesy of a fund established by a Library patron for the furthering of children’s education in science, technology, engineering, and math. Come to the Library and engage with the different STEM resources offered, learn how to use some of the Library’s coding robots. Also, programs for children and teens featuring the collection of the Library’s STEM kits are offered regularly. Classes, scouting, and homeschool groups are welcome to set up a time for a program by contacting Darren DeArment, the Youth Services Librarian (570-622-8880 ext. 12/ potchild@pottsvillelibrary.org).
