Youth Programs
The Youth Services Department offers both regular weekly programs and occasional events for kids of all ages. All programs require advance registration by calling the department at 570-622-8880 ext. 12, by email at potchild@pottsvillelibrary.org, or by filling out the registration form at the bottom of this page. Most programs are free and all are welcome!
Weekly Programs
Story Time
Where: At the library
Age: Ages 12 months – 5 years
Dates: Feb. 10 – May 15
Time: Mon. 10:30AM – 11:30AM, Thursday 11:30AM – 12:00PM
Mondays from 10:30am-11:30am and Thursdays 11:30am-12:00pm. Mon. geared toward 3-5 years old and Thurs. for 12-36 months old.
Girls Who Code
Where: At the library
Age: 7 – 13 years
Dates: Feb. 26 – Apr. 30
Time: 5:00PM – 6:00PM
Come and learn coding using the Girls Who Code curriculum. Program is open to both girls and boys.
Teen Gaming
Where: At the library
Age: 12 – 18 years
Dates: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 5:00PM – 7:00PM
Come and play Dungeons and Dragons and other games. No experience is necessary.
Creation Station
Where: At the library
Age: 1 – 12 years
Dates: Mondays – Friday
Time: all day
The “Creation” changes every week! Art supplies will be provided to participants.
Teen Book Club
Where: At the library
Age: 13 – 18 years
Dates: Fourth Thursday of every month, beginning on Oct. 24
Time: 5:30PM – 6:30PM
